Men's #AEHoops Feb. 13 Recap

BOSTON –  Home teams went 3-1 on Thursday as Bryant, UMBC and Vermont picked up wins on their own courts while UAlbany was lone road team to earn a victory.

at Bryant 88, UMBC 66  – Box Score
Bryant used a 14-0 run bridging the first and second halves to knock off NJIT. Earl Timberlake led five Bulldogs in double figures with a double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds. Barry Evans added his own double-double of 15 points and 10 boards. Tim Moore had a game-high 22 points and eight rebounds.

at Vermont 79, New Hampshire 59 – Box Score
All five Catamount starters scored in twin figures as Vermont knocked off UNH at home to post its third-straight win. The Catamounts converted 14 Wildcat turnovers into 19 points. Ileri Ayo-Faleye scored a team-best 16 points for UVM while Sam Alamutu had 10 points and 12 boards. Jawarie Hamelin had 12 points to lead UNH.
 
at UMBC 81, Binghamton 77 – Box Score
UMBC shot 51 percent and held off a late Binghamton rally to post the home win. Marcus Banks led the way with 21 points while Josh Odunowo had 17 points, nine rebounds and five blocks. Chris Walker had 17 to lead Binghamton.

UAlbany 90, UMass Lowell 88 – Box Score
UAlbany closed the game on an 8-0 overcoming a six point deficit late in overtime to win for the fourth time in its last seven games. Byron Joshua’s 19 points paced UAlbany while Quinton Mincey had 22 for UMass Lowell.
